With the new year coming up you are probably thinking it has something to do with getting your life together, setting new goals, expanding your online business, or just straightening your life.

Or maybe its all of the above....

Wake up now to the realization that all of the dreams that you have failed to accomplish before now. Maybe you need a BIG SLAP IN THE FACE to wake up to the reality that you are not where you want to be in your life because it is the lack of work or effort on your part. Well it is almost 2012. Your probably saying THIS is gonna be the year...

The truth is unless you do something drastically different this year than you did the last year you will be saying the same thing at this time next year. It is sad but true 70% of people that are in an MLM will either fall out of your current business and jump on board the next best business that comes along in hopes of making it big OR you will just quit all together.

Why is it that people give up so easily? Tons of people join the gym, start a new business, quit smoking and the list goes on and on and on........

Think about this before you start an online business or join an MLM, if you want to earn a Masters Degree it will probably take you at least 6 yrs and lots of hard work and determination. HARD WORK!!!! So don't get involved if you can't really put in 1 yr of HARD WORK...

1. This may be the single most important thing of all. You should sit down for an hour or however long it takes but Write Down Your Goals and don't just set the goals for the year break them down into sections such as yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily goals. This will take time and thought so take 20-30 minutes a day from now till the new year and just write things that you want to accomplish in 2012.

2. Keep a daily journal and write down ideas through out the day this will be really difficult for a lot of people but I promise you if you do it daily and look back at it 6 months from now you will be amazed at your thought process through out the entire year.

3. Focus on keeping a positive attitude. According to a Harvard study the one thing differentiate the most successful sales people no matter what their age, no matter their education is attitude. Your attitude is what YOU make it.

4. Blog daily or at least 4 times per week about your business or your experiences and make it personal. People want to follow leaders. So practice what you preach. If you don't have time out source it to a copy writer I can point you in the direction of a couple great copy writers that are familiar with seo practices.

5. Read 1 personal development book per month. Readers are leaders. It is a fact. Any successful person will tell you that you must read. Any book that you read try to get at least 1 thing from it to implement into your life.

6. Treat others like you want to be treated. Lead by example. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

7. Learn SEO if you want to be successful in online marketing try to learn what it takes to be a successful online marketer.

8. Learn from your leaders but don't expect them to hold your hand forever. Take what you learn from them and move on and become a leader yourself. People want to follow leaders.

I hope this helps someone that needs direction this is what I have learned and what I am going to implement this up coming year.
